How Circotrade ensures you get what you buy!

One of the best ways to preserve the value of materials and products is to ensure that they are properly maintained overtime. In issuing an option on Circotrade’s platform, the seller takes on the responsibility to maintain, repair and replace these materials over time and in accordance with good estate management practice.

Material change in inventory

It goes without saying, if any material change of quantity or technical specifications occurs in the materials that have been previously been inventoried by Circotrade, the seller has the obligation to immediately inform us – ensuring that our online inventory is kept fully up to date.

If the materials are already under option, Circotrade will ensure that the buyer can take an informed decision on the viability of the option for their project under the new circumstances. And if this is not the case, Circotrade will search for alternative materials on the platform.

The annual inspection

The owner is required to provide access to our inspectors on an as needed basis and no less than once a year.

The tasks of our inspector :
- quantitative verification of inventoried items
- qualitative verification of the inventory
- inventory update on the platform

Deconstruction, not demolition!

The seller contractually agrees to have the elements under option deconstructed by a qualified deconstruction contractor. This is a crucial aspect of the Circotrade contract and goes a long way to ensuring that the materials and products sold will be recovered from site in an optimal manner.

Third Party quantity verification

Circotrade employs reputable Quantity Surveying firms to have the quantities of deconstructed elements verified by a third party on site post deconstruction. This service is carried out on behalf of the seller.

Integrity of the materials

All materials and products traded on Circotrade’s platform are verified for reuse, reconditioned and recertified as needed and transported to the point of pickup agreed with the buyer. This process is the responsibility of the seller and can be facilitated by third party suppliers with which Circotrade is in partnership.

In addition to the seller’s commitments, Circotrade applies appropriate yield rates on the inventoried quantities to prevent any overestimation.
Our estimated package price is based on the quantities multiplied by the unit price.
With Circotrade, you will only receive materials and products that have been fully verified for reuse and you will never pay for more units than you receive.
Circotrade’s price estimations are calculated with the support of a leading QS partner firm as well as prices informed by market buyers.
